DAYWISE ITINERARY

Day 01 :: PURI STATION ARRIVAL

Morning arrival at Puri station and then proceed to your pre-booked hotel. After fresh up full day visit of Puri city including the following places:
1. Lord Jagannath temple
2. Other important temples inside the campus
3. Puri Grand Road
4. Gundicha temple (closed for the time being)
5. Loknath temple
6. Sonar Gouranga temple
7. Bedi Hanuman Temple
8. Mata Math
9. Puri Blue Flag Beach (need to buy tickets to go to this beach)
Then check into the hotel in Puri and stay overnight.

Day 2 ::PURI – KONARK – PURI

Morning after breakfast leave for Konark on the way visiting the following places:
1. Ramchand Temple
2. Chandrabhaga beach
3. Konark Sun Temple
4. Konark Interpretation Centre
5. Konark Nava Graha temple
6. If you can wait for some time more, then evening enjoy the light & sound show (starts at 6.30 PM & every Monday remains closed) Return back to Puri and stay overnight.

Day 3 ::PURI – CHILIKA LAKE @ SATAPADA – PURI

Post breakfast leave for Chilika Lake at Satapada. Hire a boat on the spot paying the payment to the boatman to visit Irrawaddy Dolphisn, Sea Mouth (the meeting point of Sea &Lake) with Rajhans Island. Return back to Puri visiting Alarnath temple at Brahmagiri. Overnight stay at Puri.

Day 4 ::PURI – BARKUL @ CHILIKA LAKE

Post breakfast check out from the hotel at Puri and continue your drive to Chilika Lake at Barkul on the way visiting:
1. Raghurajpur (Artisan & Heritage Painting village)
2. Sakhigopal temple (Radha – Krishna temple)
3. Mangalajodi @ Chilika Lake (need to book hand rowing boat to view Migratory Birds)
Check into the Hotel and stay overnight.

Day 5 ::BARKUL @ CHILIKA LAKE – PIPLI – DHAULI – BHUBANESWAR

Morning hire a boat to go to Kalijai Island. Visit the Island with Kalijai temple. Then return back to hotel and pack your bags for Bhubaneswar. On the way you will be going to visit the following places:
1. Pipli appliqué making village
2. Dhauli Peace Pagoda & Ashokan Rock Edict
3. Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain caves
Check into the hotel and stay overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 6 ::BHUBANESWAR LOCAL & DROP

Morning visit of temples of Bhubaneswar like Parashurameswar, Mukteswar, Lingaraj, Rajarani temples. Then visit of Nandankanan zoo (Closed on every Monday). Post visit, you will be dropped at the airport on time to catch the flight for Ahmedabad.
