DAYWISE ITINERARY

Day 01 ::BHUBANESWAR ARRIVAL

Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport and transfer to the hotel. Later visit of Bhubaneswar city including Temples (Parashurameswar, Mukteswar, Lingaraj, Rajarani & Bindu Sarovar). Return back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 02 :: BHUBANESWAR – BIRAJA DEVI TEMPLE @ JAIPUR – BHITARKANIKA

Early morning after breakfast leave for Bhitarkanika National Park visiting Biraja Devi temple at Jaipur. Then visit of Ratnagiri & Udayagiri Buddhist Stupas and ruined monastery. Check into Bhitarkanika and stay overnight.

Day 03 :: BHITARKANIKA NATIONAL PARK – CUTTACK – BHUBANESWAR

After morning breakfast leave for Kohla Jetty to board the boat to enter the Bhitarkanika Jungle. Enjoy the Mangrove forest with different crees to spot salt water crocodiles by boat cruise. Visit the bird sanctuary called as Baga Gahan with the watch tower inside the jungle. Do a soft walking inside the jungle to visit the Ancient Hunting tower of the Kanika King. After that reach at Dangamal to visit the Interpretation centre, Crocodile Hatchling Ponds & Museum. Return back to the jetty to board the boat and sail back to Kohla Jetty. Then after lunch at the hotel leave for Bhubaneshwar visiting Lalitgiri Buddhist stupa and Chhatia Bata temple. If time permits visit of Cuttack Subash Bose Museum. Reach at hotel and stay overnight at Bhubaneswar.

Day 04 ::BHUBANESWAR – TARATARINI TEMPLE – GOPALPUR

Morning after breakfast leave for Gopalpur on the way visiting Khandagiri & Udagagiri Jain caves. Then visit of Tara Tarini Temple (one of the Shakti Pithas). Reach Gopalpur in the evening and enjoy the beach. Overnight stay at Gopalpur.

Day 05 ::GOPALPUR – BARKUL @ CHILIKA LAKE – MANGALAJODI @ CHILIKA LAKE – PURI

Leave Gopalpur and drive to Puri on the way visiting the following places :
1. Barkul @ Chilika Lake famous for Kalijai Island and Kalijai temple
2. Mangaljodi @ Chilika famous for migratory birds
3. Raghurajpur Artisan village
Reach at Puri and relax yourself on the Golden Beach of Puri.

Day 06 ::PURI – KONARK – PURI

Morning have a Darshan of Lord Jagannath inside the temple along with other temples inside the main campus. You can also visit Rohini Kunda, Bimala Mata temple, Laxmi Mata temple, Bata Ganesh temple etc. After coming out of the temple visit Grand Road and Gundicha temple. After lunch leave for Konark on the way visiting the following places
1. Ramchand temple
2. Chandrabhaga beach
3. Konark Interpretation Centre
4. Konark Sun Temple
5. Light & Sound show (starts at 6.30 PM & remains closed on every Monday)
Return back to Puri and stay overnight.

Day 07 :: PURI – CHILIKA LAKE AT SATAPADA – BHUBANESWAR

Morning check out from the hotel after breakfast. Then leave for Chilika Lake at Satapada which is famous for Irrawaddy Dolphins and Sea Mouth (the meeting point of the lake & Bay of Bengal). Continue your drive to Bhubaneswar visiting Pipli appliqué making village, Dhauli Peace Pagoda. Reach Bhubaneswar and stay overnight.

Day 08 ::BHUBANESWAR LOCAL & DROP

Morning after breakfast visit of Bhubaneswar city including different museums, Nandankanan zoo and free time for shopping of Odisha Handlooms. After the visit, you will be dropped at the airport for onward journey.
