DAYWISE ITINERARY

Day 01 ::BHUBANESWAR 

Arrival at Bhubaneswar airport and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After fresh up excursion trip to Olasingh textile village, where you will find very lovely villagers who are always ready to invite you to see their great work. Enjoy the traditional tiger mask dance. Then return back to Bhubaneswar and stay overnight.

Day 2 :: BHUBANESWAR – NUAPATNA – DHENKANAL

After breakfast departure for Nuapatna Weaving village to discover the special tie and dye pattern known as IKAT. They use silk, tusser etc. to weave the sarees or dress materials. You can witness the process of collecting silks from silk cocoons until the finished product. Then continue your drive to see the excellent Dhokra metal work at Sadeibareni village. Post visit, check into the Dhenkanal Royal palace- A heritage property.

Day 3 :: DHENKANAL – SONEPUR

Post having a royal breakfast drive to Sonepur to explore the textile villages around the temple town Sonepur. Visit Baidyanathpur and Sagarpalli villages to see the various silk & tussar weaving work and the products. Overnight stay in Sonepur. (Basic amenities will be provided at the hotel).

Day 4 :: SONEPUR – BARGARH

After having the breakfast, proceed to Barapali to visit the textile market. Also visit the various cooperative weaver societies and the textile centres. Overnight stay in a hotel at Bargarh.

Day 5 :: BARGARH – SAMBALPUR

After having the breakfast at the hotel in Bargarh, drive to Sambalpur to see the best sarees in exotic design named Sambalpuri Pata. This place is famous for cotton, tassar etc. Visit the various textile centres inside the city. Stay overnight at Sambalpur.

Day 6 :: SAMBALPUR – BHUBANESWAR DROP EVENING

Post breakfast leave for Bhubaneswar and check into the hotel. After fresh up visit of Bhubaneswar temples like Parashurameswar, Mukteswar, Lingaraj & Rajarani. If time permits, visit of Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain caves. Then drop at Bhubaneswar airport of station for onward journeys.
