DAYWISE ITINERARY

Day 01 :: BHUBANESWAR AIRPORT ARRIVAL & VISITS

Meet & greet on arrival at Bhubaneswar airport with Traditional Welcome by our local representative and then transfer to your pre-booked hotel. After fresh up start visiting Applique making village, Pattachitra making village & if time permits visit of Pottery making village. Return back to hotel and stay overnight.

Day 2 :: BHUBANESWAR – BALIGUDA (6-7 HR DRIVE + VISITS)

Post breakfast leave for Baliguda, en-route visiting weaving village at Itamati and few semi tribal villages. On the way you will cross the Jungle of Dasapalla. Overnight stay at Baliguda. Here the hotel is having basic facilities.

Day 3 : BALIGUDA – RAYAGADA (4 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Meet the Kutia Kondh tribe at their isolated village in the core of Baliguda jungle and see their lifestyle (nice for photography). (Belghar & Barakhama area which are famous for the Tatoo Faced Tribes). Then leave for Rayagada on the way visiting (if time permits) meet the Desia kondh at their isolated village in high hill area of Durgi jungle zone. Overnight stay at Rayagada.

Day 4 : RAYAGADA – LANJIA SAURA – RAYAGADA (5-6 HR DRIVE + VISIT)

Meet the only Aryan tribe of eastern India- the Lanjia Saura at their very isolated village in Saura land / high hill, zig zag road but very interesting for photography. On demand, they wear their special attire / wooden ear plug / tattoo mark and dream painting / special settlements. Also visit their colourful weekly market too. Return back to Rayagada & stay overnight.

Day 5 :RAYAGADA – JEYPORE (5-6 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Check out and drive to visit one of the most primitive and colourful tribe called Dongaria Kondh at their very interesting Weekly market at Majhiguda which comes under Devgiri jungle range. Spend some quality time there for photography and then start driving Jeypore on the way visiting Kuvi kondh tribe at their isolated village in Kumbhikota jungle. Overnight Jeypore.

Day 6 :JEYPORE – GUPTESWAR – JEYPORE (4 HR DRIVE + VISIT)

Post breakfast drive to Gupteswar to visit the cave temple, Dhuruba tribe at their most isolated village in Gupteswar region and if desire enjoy the most colorful Group dance (it is chargeable) / very nice photography. Afternoon visit the Bhumiya tribe at their isolated village in Ramgiri jungle. Overnight stay at Jeypore.

Day 7 :JEYPORE – ONUKUDELI – JEYPORE (4.30 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Meet the Bonda tribe at their colorful market- Anakadeli / Onukudelli. After spending a couple of hours with them proceed to the Gadaba tribal village excursion their life style. Good for photography. Afternoon, if time permits visit the very unique pottery making village / where still the style of pottery making and statue style is comparable with Indus Valley Civilization (5000 BC). Overnight stay at Jeypore.

Day 8 :JEYPORE – KUNDULI – JAGDALPUR (6 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Early morning check out from the hotel in Jeypore and drive to Kunduli the biggest tribal market on the way visiting the Bora Paraja tribes at their isolated village in the core of Koraput jungle. Meet the shaman at their village/ explore the ancient spirt connection and trans of the shaman to the un natural world/ ancient worship of nature. Also visit the grand weekly market of Paraja- Rana- Mali tribe at Kunduli (where thousands of tribe get together in one place not only for trading but also exchange their culture/ traditional seeds/ young unmarried couple choice their life partner etc. Then proceed to Chhattisgarh (Jagdalpur). Overnight- Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh).

Day 9 :JAGDALPUR LOCAL (MARIA TRIBAL VILLAGES)

Meet the most interesting Dandami Maria at their isolated village in Didam area/ enjoy their Bishon horn dance on nature/ at their village- it is chargeable. Afternoon visit the most wild Maria market too. Overnight stay at Jagdalpur (Chhattisgarh).

Day 10 :JAGDALPUR – KANKER

Meet the Deer Horn Muria at their isolated village in the core of Keshkal jungle and if you want you can witness their Tribal Dance on direct payment basis. Overnight at Kanker.

Day 11 : KANKER – CHILPI (4.30 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Meet the Des Baiga tribe at Chilipi jungle / excursion their lifestyle and very nice for photography. Overnight- Chilipi Hotel Baiga resort – Deluxe room

Day 12 :CHILPI – SHIVIRINARAYAN (5 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

After breakfast check out from the hotel and visit of the Baiga villages. Then continue your journeys to Shivirinarayan. Overnight stay at Shivirinarayan.

Day 13 :SHIVIRINARAYAN – SAMBALPUR (4.30 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Meet the Ramanami community at their isolated village in the core of Bilaigarh area. Then spend some quality time with them and take some special photographs. After that proceed to Sambalpur. Overnight at Sambalpur.

Day 14 :SAMBALPUR – DHENKANAL (5 HRS DRIVE + VISIT)

Early morning post breakfast leave for Dhenkanal. Check into the Royal Palace in Dhenkanal. Post lunch leave for meeting the unique Mahima Cults at their grand monastery – Joranda.
They perform a very unique worship at the grand monastery. Its one of the most memorable and enjoyable trip to Joranda. Return back to hotel and stay overnight.
(THIS DAY WE CELEBRATE DIWALI IN OSIDHA & ALL OVER INDIA)

Day 15 :DHENKANAL – SANTAL VILLAGE – DHENKANAL

Meet the Santal tribe at their isolated village in the core of Kapilash jungle / very special village where hundreds of houses painted very special organic painting by hand – santal people and participate with them at their special festival after full day excursion. Back to the hotel and have dinner and overnight stay.

Day 16 : DHENKANAL – BHUBANESWAR AIRPORT DROP

Morning after breakfast proceed to Bhubaneswar airport / board the flight for your onward destination..

3. Interstate permit charges.

5. Complimentary breakfast for 01 persons starting from Day 02 morning.

1.  IMPORTANT: Kindly note that names of hotels mentioned above only indicate that our rates have been based on usage of these hotels and it is not to be construed that accommodation is confirmed at these hotels until and unless we convey such confirmation to you. In the event of any of the above mentioned hotels not becoming available we shall book alternate accommodation at a similar or next best available hotel and shall pass on the difference of rates (supplement/reduction whatever applicable)

3.  In case of non-availability of regular hotels, we will give you different options where rate of package might increase or decrease depending on hotels selected.
4.  During the journey if someone asks for extra money, you may inform us and we may not be responsible if you pay without our consent.

6.  Extra bed refers to extra mattress and not cot.
7.  Some sightseeing spots have a weekly holiday and we won’t be able to compensate if you are travelling on that day.
8.  We cannot be held responsible for problems due to events that are not under our control (weather, political demonstrations, airline & train delays, traffic jams, floods etc.).
9. We reserve the right to alter, amend, change or modify the tour package and itineraries before or during the tour.
10.  The Pilgrims/Tourists will take care of their belongings by themselves during the tour and we take no responsibility for any misplacement, loss or damage for their belongings.
